KOCHI: Leader of Ramesh Chennithala said that salary challenge became a failure following the arrogant stands taken by chief minister and Pinarayi Vijayan. He also said that chief minister cheated people by saying that he will rebuild Kerala. He was inaugurating the representatives meet of Kerala gazetted officers union.

"The government divided the government officials of our state in the name of salary challenge. Chief Minister later tried to divide the people through Sabarimala challenge. Though the government had said that health insurance will be given to government officials, it did not happen. The disaster relief fund was not used properly. The situation of Kerala is very bad following the floods. The government has not estimated the loss yet. LDF has not come forward with a new project. Government's job is not building chains and walls. Chief Minister has failed in it. He is spending government money even for political things", said Chennithala.
KDOU state preisdent S Ajayan presided over the function.
