SABARIMALA: Three Sabarimala pilgrims got injured at Karimala valley after they took to heels, seeing wild elephants. The injuries are not serious.

The incident happened at Sunday around 9:30 pm. The forest officials who reached the spot after the incident blocked devotees in that area and shot in the air to scare away the jumbos and turn them back into the forest.

Meanwhile, darshan time was extended by one more hour on Sunday due to heavy rush of devotees. The temple, which was to close at 11 pm, was closed at 12 pm in the day. This was announced through microphones.
