THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: State cabinet meeting has decided to give more benefits to IAS officers in the State. The permission for this is in accordance with the recommendations of seventh Pay Commission.

Thus, henceforth the government will reimburse the bill IAS officers in Kerala pay for electricity and water. The limit of fuel for private travel has also been avoided. Similarly there won’t be any limit on the salary paid to attenders kept in IAS officers’ residences. Till now, Rs 3000/month was paid as salary to an attender. Now onwards, there won’t be any limit to that also.
