KOCHI: KSRTC joint trade union has clarified that they will not postpone indefinite strike scheduled to start on Thursday at 12 am. KSRTC union clarified that they won’t consider the High Court order blocking the strike. The stand was clarified in the union meeting. “We are not challenging the high court verdict. We are ready to hold a meeting with anyone. However, strike will not be postponed”, said an executive member of the union in an official statement. High Court had denied permission for the KSRTC employees to stage a strike. Court had also criticized Tomin J Thachankary. KSRTC union was also directed to settle the matter. High Court said that neither Thachankary nor the management took an initiative to settle the issue.

KSRTC has decided to stage an indefinite strike from January 16th.
