PIRAVAM: The police have taken two in custody in connection with an acid attack towards a family at Pambakudy in Ernakulam. The Ramamangalam sub inspector Eby said that arrest would be registered after collecting evidence. Acid was poured towards a widow identified as Smitha and her four children staying in a one-room rented house early Thursday morning. Smitha, her eldest son Nevin, Smija, Smina and Sminu have been admitted at the Kottayam ESI Hospital. One of the children has lost vision.
