THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: There are glaring faults in the report submitted by the government in the Supreme Court that states entry of 51 women at Sabarimala, reports say. Documents from Election Commission also proves that the first women in the list is aged 55 years. The government submitted the list of 51 women who is said to have registered for darshan through virtual queue. It was submitted when the court was considering Bindu and Kanakadurga’s prayer for protection.
In the list of 51 women, it is interesting that there are no women from Kerala. Most of them are aged 40 and above. The first name on the list, Padmavati from Andhra Pradesh, is listed as 48 years old. However, details from EC contradicts this.
There are also reports that many in the list confirmed that they are above 50 years of age. Women from Andhra Pradesh informed advocates that they performed darshan and are over 50 years old. A section of advocate are now going to approach the court by showing that government tried to mislead the court.
