THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan has come forward mocking Mata Amrithanandamayi for participating in the Ayyappa Sangamam, organized by BJP. “Amrithanandamayi, who is celibate has met many women men devotees alike in her life. Did she lose her celibacy? She is participating in this event in order to unite the right wing groups in Kerala. What is the logic behind her participation in the ‘Ayyappa Sangamam?’”, asked Kodiyeri.

Meantime, Sabarimala Karma Samithi informed that they will organize huge meet of Ayyappa devotees (Ayyappa Sangamam) on January 20th at Thiruvananthapuram. SJR Kumar, general convenor of Karma Samithi informed that Mata Amrithanandamayi will be the chief guest at the event. The event is scheduled at 4 pm and will take place at Putharikandam ground.

Ayyappa Sanagamam is organized by RSS. Several spiritual and religious leaders will participate in the event. Devotees from Kollam, Kottayam, Alappuzha and Pathanamthitta districts will participate in the event.
