THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Resentment against the decision to boycott channel discussions is getting intensified within BJP. BJP state committee member P Krishnadas was suspended for participating in a channel debate. This decision had resulted in a backlash.

Media had boycotted BJP state president P S Sreedharan Pillai’s press meet in Thiruvananthapuram and general secretary K Surendran’s press meet in Kozhikode. BJP had taken the decision following this.

Krishnadas says that he took part in channel discussion as an advocate. However the party leadership has not accepted this. Party explains this as a disciplinary move for disobeying party decision to boycott channel discussions.
