NEW DELHI: Actor Dileep has sought a week’s time to reply for government’s affidavit in the actress attack case. The actor has filed a plea in the Supreme Court requesting to postpone the case which is to be considered tomorrow.

Further hearing on the actor’s plea for a copy of the memory card believed to be crucial in the sexual attack case will be considered by the Supreme Court tomorrow. The government had filed an affidavit explaining the reasons for not handing over the memory card. Dileep has sought a week’s time to submit a reply for it. As senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi for Dileep has some inconvenience to appear for the actor tomorrow, the plea has requested to postpone the case for a week. A bench led by Justice A M Khanwilkar will consider the plea tomorrow. The prosecution had entrusted senior advocate Hareen P Rawal to appear for the case.
