KASARGOD: KPCC working president K Sudhakaran on Thursday offered an apology for his statement against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. Speaking at a meet in Kasargod, Sudhakaran said the chief minister is worse than women when it comes to running his office.

When Pinarayi Vijayan assumed power, I thought he will do something like a man, but it turns out he is worse than women. The leader’s explanation was that he meant women activists and not women on the whole. I tender an apology if the statement has hurt anybody, he said.

He made the controversial statement during the UDF meet organised in Kasargod on Wednesday. When CPM eulogised Pinarayi Vijayan as a man with two hearts, we also thought that after becoming chief minister, he might do something like a man. But he failed to act like a man, he has performed worse than a woman.
