THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The party district leadership sought strict action against DCP Chaithra Theresa John for raiding CPM district committee office during a search for the accused who pelted stones towards a police station. There was no accused in the office and she conducted the raid to find a place in news, district secretary Anavoor Nagappan said.

The raid conducted on the previous day of the assembly session was deliberate and if necessary the media can examine the CCTV clippings, he said.
