ADOOR: An army officer died on Sunday after the food he swallowed got stuck in oesophagus. The dead officer has been identified as retired Lt Ayush Suresh (22). He was the son of Mammodu Pongaladi Sahaj (Palacheri) native Lt Colonel P S Suresh and retired Lt Colonel Sandhya Suresh.

The body will be brought to his residence in Pongaladi on Monday evening. The body will be cremated on Tuesday at 10 am with full State honours. Aksah Suresh (MBBS student, Philippines is his brother).
