THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Nation was shocked to witness the recreation of Gandhi murder by Hindu Mahasabha. The recreation was done by Pooja Shakun Pandey, national secretary of Hindu Maha Sabha. She shot at a Gandhi figure using a toy gun. The video has gone viral on the social media and it has been facing a lot of backlash. Noted writer K R Meera has come forward condemning the incident.

“Oh god, I am afraid. National secretary of Hindu Maha Sabha is shooting at Gandhi on the day of his 71st death anniversary. Father of the nation! Mahatma! Is this a new ritual in Uttar Pradesh? I am afraid”, said K R Meera.

“Maybe K P Sasikala and Sobha Surendran may also continue this ritual here. T P Senkumar may deliver the welcome speech. Mata Amritanandamayi and Chindanandapuri may participate in the event”, nooted Meera in her Facebook post.
