There are complaints that Kerala university exams were postponed on account of a function of teachers’ organisation in which CPM leader Kodiyeri Balakrishnan would be attending.

The university has postponed BA, BSC and BCOm third semester exams, scheduled for Friday, without any definite explanation.
It is alleged that the exams were postponed out of the fear that there would be low attendance at the function.

Congress spokesperson Jyothi Kumar Chamakkala has come out with serious allegation in this matter.

In a sarcastic Facebook post, he says:

“For the kind attention of students...
When you burn midnight oil while preparing for exams, just check around your place or University premises whether there is any programme, attended by Left leaders like Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, Anavur Nagappan or P Jayarajan, going to take place there. If yes… be sure that there will be no exams.

This is Kerala and the Communist party is the ruler. It’s like that here bro. When Kerala University feels that comrade Kodiyeri’s party class is more important than University exams, how can we not ask whether it is a lawless land?

BA/ BSc /Bcom third semester exams have been postponed according to the convenience of petty local leaders who want to take part in Kodiyeri’s education protection convention… Hey, what protection are you giving to the education, without allowing university to hold exams on time...”
