THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Don’t you have your SSLC certificate with you at the time of an emergency? Or, have you lost it? Anyway, you don’t have to be afraid. You don’t have to search for a new certificate. If you have a smartphone with you, duplicate certificate will be ready within a short period of time.

SSLC certificate is also becoming digital. This will be the first of its kind in Kerala. You don’t have to carry your original certificate or copy everywhere. You can download the certificate from the education departmen’s website by using your Aadhar number as user name and your own password. The government plans to implement this before next month. Pareeksha bhavan is in charge of this.

Initially, certificates from 2018 onwards will be made digital and later older certificates will also be made digital.
