THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Seat sharing and candidates will be ready by the time Lok Sabha election is announced, says CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan. “Any allied party within the front can raise their demands. We are ready to discuss. Party has not started any candidate discussion. We have always given priority to women. However, UDF’s stand is against women in such case. LDF is strong enough to beat BJP in all 20 seats. So there is no need to make a proposition with anyone”, Kodiyeri said in a press meet.

The election campaign will be focused around eliminating BJP from power, bring a secular government to power and increase the representation of LDF in the Parliament.

LDF’s election campaign will kick start with a rally at Thrissur on March 2.

“If P.J. Joseph comes out in public against UDF, his consideration can be checked. People who were not in support of LDF before Sabarimala issue has changed their minds now”, Kodiyeri Balakrishnan added.
