MALAPPURAM: Three youths were killed when the car in which they were travelling rammed into a wall at Aravangara in Pookkottur in the district. The dead has been identified as Unaiz, son of Beeran Kutty of Mongam, Sanoop, son of Ahamed Kutty of Kondotty and Shihabudeen, son of Abdul Razaq of Morayur.

The accident happened Monday early morning at 2.45 am. Rescue operations were conducted jointly by the fire force, police and the locals. The bodies have been kept at the mortuary of Manjeri Medical College Hospital.
