THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The devaswom board has so far not given any list on the entry of women in Sabarimala as per the Supreme Court verdict, said its president A Padma Kumar. Devaswom Minister Kadakampally Surendran had the other day informed the assembly that only two women entered Sabarimala. He also said that as per the report of Sabarimala executive officer there was no confirmation on the entry of Srilankan woman.

Tantri Kandarararu had given an explanation for closing the temple to perform the purification rites in the wake of the entry of two women. Talking to reporters after the board meeting, Padma Kumar said the purification rites can be performed only with the consent of the board. However, it was not performed with our consent. The tantri’s explanation has not been obtained, he said. Meantime, tantri’s explanation note has hinted that the purification rites were performed as per Sabarimala tantric judgement. The tantri performed the rites soon after Bindu and Kanakadurga performed the rites.
