NEW DELHI: We are expecting a favourable verdict on women entry in Sabarimala, said Sasikumar Varma, a representative of the Pandalam Palace. The palace was against women entry in Sabarimala.
The Supreme Court will consider all pleas filed against women entry in Sabarimala. The apex court will consider review pleas, write pleas and the plea of the devaswom board. There are around 65 petitions seeking review of the judgment. The court had earlier informed that they would hear only the review pleas today. The court will consider the pleas at 10.30 am.
The pleas will be considered by a five-member constitutional bench led by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi, judges Rohinton Nariman, A M Khanwilkar, D Y Chandrachud and Indu Malhotra.
