As the Supreme Court is considering the review petitions against Sabarimala Advocate Hareesh Vasudevan has come out with some presumptions and inferences on the possible court decision.
In his Facebook post, he says: Usually, SC doesn’t have the habit of correcting its order on account of mob violence or law and order situation. It didn’t happen even in SC/ST Act order, Jalli kattu issue or Cauvery row which saw deaths of many protesters.
For reviewing the order, there should be “Apparent error on the face of record" but the in none of the petitions I read I saw any apparent error.
If majority of the five-member bench feels that there is no error in the judgement, review petitions will be dismissed today itself. Or else, the court will consider the logical arguments of people who sincerely believe that there is error in the order.
But the constitution given by Constitution to women is above all. In that case, judiciary will raise a step above. However, during all these hours, society will discuss the gender politics raised by the order.
