KOCHI: Investigation agencies have said that they have got evidence to prove that Underworld don Ravi Pujari had telephoned PC George MLA.
The Central intelligence agencies have revealed that four internet calls were made from Senegal to George’s phone.

P C George revealed the other day that Ravi Pujari had threatened him over phone through an Internet call from Africa. He had also mentioned that he had complained to the police about the threat call. It is this revelation that the agencies have confirmed now.

“Two weeks ago, I had received an Internet call from Africa. The caller first asked me whether I had read his message. I told him that I didn’t get time to read when he introduced himself as Ravi Pujari. He also threatened to kill one of my two children. I told him to go to hell and his threat won’t work with me… I slammed the phone calling him rascal and idiot. After that I gave complaints to the chief minister and State police chief. I didn’t make this public as the investigation is going on as the police also instructed me to do so,” P C George had said.

Ravi Pujari is an accused in shooting incident at Leena Maria Paul’s beauty parlour. He is the third accused. Police have revealed that they had got evidence of attempts made by other accused to make calls to Mumbai. They have also intensified the investigation centred on Mumbai.
