NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Thursday disagreed to hear any more arguments on the review pleas in connection with women entry in Sabarimala. The court rejected the demand of advocate Mathews Nedumbara requesting to hear the argument after withdrawing yesterday’s order.
The court had on Wednesday heard the arguments on the review pleas over women entry. The court who heard the arguments on main pleas, directed advocates to give in writing their arguments within seven days.
However, when Mathews Nedumbara raised the issue for national association of Ayyappa devotees, the court said the arguments cannot be heard again.
Advocates can give in writing the arguments. Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi said a chance will be given to hear the arguments if there is a valid reason to argue.
