THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The BJP leadership is getting ready to use Pancharatna, the ‘Brahmasthra’ it successfully used in Gujarat for election. Pancharatna is an arrangement in which five selected trustworthy, active party workers are included to coordinate the election work.

The pancharatna will comprise two senior leaders, one person who can ride a two-wheeler, one person from SC/ST category and one woman member. This will be organised on the basis of booths.

The BJP will go ahead with its election activities under the leadership of the members of Pancharatna. They will work by focussing on each house under a booth.

The aim of Pacharatna is to ensure that the BJP gets at least one seat, throw up a challenge to the Right and Left Fronts in other places and strengthen the party’s base in Kerala.
