SIVAGIRI: Foundation stone for Sree Narayana Guru Pilgrimage Circuit was done at a grand ceremony by Alphons Kannanthanam, the Union Minister for Tourism and Culture. He also initiated the construction works of the project that is included in the central government’s ‘Swadeshi Darshan’ project.

The minister said that Gurudevan was the world’s greatest revolutionary and it’s delightful to realize the circuit at the holy land in Guru’s name. The circuit will be made by connecting Aruvippuram, Kolathukara, Mannanthala Anandavalleeswara Temple, Chempazhanthy Gurukulam, Aniyoor Temple, Thonnakkal Asan Memorial, Kaayikkara and Sivagiri Papanasam beach.

“Sree Narayana Guru gave leadership to renaissance thoughts in Kerala”, said Minister Kadakamapally Surendran. Sree Narayana Dharma Sangham Trust President Swami Vishudhananda presided the function. SNDP Yogam vice president Thushar Vellappally praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah for taking interest in the project.

In the first phase, development works of Rs. 39.07 crores will be done.
