MUNNAR: Actress Jayashree Sivadas sustained injuries after an auto hit her in Munnar. The incident happened on Sunday near KFDC Garden on the Munnar-Mattuppetti Road. Police said the auto hit her when she was trying to get into the car.

She has been admitted at a private hospital in Kochi and is still undergoing treatment. As her injuries are not so serious, she will be able to leave the hospital soon. The police have registered a case.

She has acted as a heroine in films like 1948 Kalam Paranjathu and Nityaharitha Nayakan and in other 20 films including Action Hero Biju.
