THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Singer K J Yesudas, businessman M A Yusuff Ali, sportsperson P T Usha and well-known cardiologist V V Bhashi will be honoured with V Gangadharan Memorial Trust award.

The award, which carries a cash prize of Rs One lakh and citation, will be presented by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in April at Swaralaya Open Air Stadium on the occasion of the valedictory function of V Gangadharan birth anniversary.

The award was announced by award committee chairman M A Baby, members Vidhu Vincent and trust members Sathya Babu and R S Babu.
The award has been instituted by Kollam Kadappakada Sports Club in the name of former speaker V Gangadharan.
