THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Forty CRPF jawans who died in Pulwama suicide attack on Thursday are the victims of India’s Kashmir policy, which had failed even long before. It is a fact that those who have ruled and are ruling the country have not been able to make any political solution to the Kashmir issue even after seven decades.
The allegation that there was serious security flaw in the case of Pulwama incident is growing louder. Many questions are being raised like how the suicide attacker was able to breach the security cordon and how it happened despite intelligence forewarnings.
Now M B Rajesh MP has come out to criticise Modi over his statements on retaliation.
From his Facebook post:
“This is 18th terror attack after Modi government came to power. The government could have prevented this attack if it had learnt anything from the terror attacks in Pathan Kotta and Uri military camp. Is it not?
It was just two weeks ago that Modi stated that India would break Kashmir terrorists’ backbone. This shows there is only bluffing against terrorists.
What is the explanation for the assurance that security was arranged in area through which CRPF men’s convoy would be passing? What is the explanation for the claim that note ban would eliminate terrorism?”
