SRINAGAR: India got audio messages of Jaish-e-Mohammad chief Masood Azhar, the mastermind of the Pulwama attack. He gave instructions to his organization members for the suicide bombing in Pulwama from the Army base hospital in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, where he is being treated for a terminal illness for the last four months.
The members of Jaish received this message eight days before Pulwama terror attack. In a weak voice, Azhar can be heard asking his men to avenge the death of his nephew Usman. He can also be heard asking to destroy it all. Due to illness, Masood Azhar could not appear in the last six key meetings of the United Jihad Council (UJC), the Pakistan-sponsored organization of the jihadi groups it uses against India. As a result of his absence, the discussions of UJC have been presided over by Hizbul Mujahideen commander Syed Salahuddin. The last one was on January 19 in which new terror launch pads for intrusion were discussed. Another meeting was held at Town Hall in Muzaffarabad in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir to discuss IED-based terror attacks, said intelligence sources. However, Azhar did not share his plans in the Pulwama attack with other constituents of the council. Instead Azhar, through his other nephew Mohammad Umair and explosive expert Abdul Rashid Ghazi used the tapes of his voice message to brainwash youth in the Kashmir Valley and motivate them for an attack with IED explosives.
Masood’s message
"There is nothing more pleasurable than death in this war. I’m bearing the chill to wage a war against India. Some people will call these terrorists savages, insane or danger to peace, but let them go and destroy everything across the border"
Pakistan’s lie exposed
With Masood’s message, Pakistan denial of the role in Pulwama attack has been exposed. They had challenged India to present evidence in order to prove their hand in the attack. India will transfer this message to international agencies and also to China, which stops any step to declare Masood as a global terrorist.
