KOCHI: The Kerala High Court has filed a suo moto case against the hartal called by youth congress in protest against the murder of their two activists in Kasargod. The case is for contempt of court. The court had earlier directed not to announce hartal without a notice. A bench led by Chief Justice will consider the case at 10.15 am today.

Two youth congress activists identified as Kripesh (19) and Joshi aka Sarath Lal were hacked to death at Kallyot in Periya last night. The victims were hacked by a team that came in a car. CPM is behind the attack, alleged the youth congress.
