THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: P K Kunjalikkutty is attempting for a settlement talk between the Kerala Congress (M) leaders K M Mani and P J Joseph. K M Mani and P J Jospeh is in a cold ward regarding the seat distribution for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. P K Kunjalikkutty and M K Muneer had met the Kerala Congress (M) leaders separately at MLA hostel on Sunday. Jose K Mani was also with Mani. Though the issue has not yet been settled, sources close to IUML say that the ice is breaking. A meeting will be held on February 26th together with K M Mani and P J Jospeh. UDF meet will follow this meet at Kochi.
It has been reported that Joseph faction is adamant regarding the seat. However, he will demand for an additional seat in the UDF meet. Mani, however is not with him. Mani is satisfied with Kottayam seat, however, he may consider Josph’s suggestion for the candidature. IUML is attempting for the settlement in this situation. UDF has a favourable position in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Therefore, they are trying to avoid the conflicts within the party.
