KASARGOD: The sensational threat speech of a CPM leader just a month before the Periya double murders, on killing congress leaders, has sparked a controversy. CPM district secretariat member V P P Musthafa while delivering his speech said that if played too much, will scatter Congress leaders without being enough to put them in the funeral pyre.

The speech was delivered on January 7, two days after Peethambaran, accused in the Periya murder case, was attacked. Pardoning all the incidents including the attack on Peethambaran and Surendran. However, if provoked again, the CPM will is sure to hit back.
