THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Thiruvananthapuram constituency is very important for BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Therefore, party is looking forward to field a strong candidate in the constituency. Mizoram Governor Kummanam Rajasekharan and actor Suresh Gopi are in consideration. RSS is attempting to field Kummanam in Thiruvananthapuram. Meanwhile, allegations were raised that the state leadership is going forward without taking the emotions and opinions of members into consideration. However, the party arranged many activities by including everyone following this. They had decided to find a solution before Amit Shah’s visit to Kerala. 20 constituencies will be divided into four regions and a ‘Parivartan Yatra’ will be conducted from March 5th to 10th.
The marches will be led by K Surendran in Thiruvananthapuram, A N Radhakrishnan in Ernakulam, Sobha Surendran in Palakkad and M T Ramesh in Kozhikod. Since charge of the Thiruvananthapuram regional march was given to K Surendran, it has been said that he is likely to contest from Thiruvananthapuram. Surendran had clarified that he will not contest in Manjeswaram by election.
