NEW DELHI: Hope Pakistan will learn a lesson from this, said former defence minister A K Antony soon after the Indian armed forces carried out the air strikes on terror launch pads in Pakistan on Tuesday.
Antony said, “It is not possible for Pakistan to face the strength and courage of the Indian army. They had always faced defeat whenever fought with the Indian army. At least now they should learn a lesson. Militant bases functioning in Pakistan soil should be eliminated. Otherwise they have to face the same consequences again.”
India conducted a major pre-emptive strike on Jaish-e-Mohammed's biggest camp early Tuesday to prevent suicide attacks being planned by the Pakistan-based terror group, killing a large number of terrorists and trainers. 12 Mirage fighter jets took part in the strike. Reports say more than 200 terrorists were killed in the deadly strike.
