NEW DELHI: A Keralite had a major role in Indian Air Force’ pre-emptive strike in Pakistan killing nearly 325 terrorists. West Air Command led by Air Marshal C Harikumar (Air officer Commanding in Chief) of Pandanadu in Chengannur was the one who made the comprehensive plan of the attack. Delhi based command is in charge of the security on the western border with Pakistan.

After the central government informed their full support to retaliate, the team led by Harikumar, started arrangements for it. After holding talks with air force chief air chief marshal B S Dhanova, strike pilots efficient to conduct mini ballistic missile was entrusted. In the meantime, in the background of air strikes, the Indian army was strengthened on the borders of Pakistan and China.

The Indian Air Force (IAF) had conducted a massive pre-emptive strike early on Tuesday on Jaish-e-Mohammed’s biggest camp acting on concrete intelligence inputs about the terror group preparing to carry out more attacks in India. IAF dropped 1,000-pound bombs in a thickly-forested hilltop killing a large number of terrorists.
