OLLUR: It would be better if stealers are aware of the fact they there is a witness up above for all their activities. A stealer who lifted a bike and vroomed away was approached by the police within half an hour and was picked up. They also seized the stolen bike.

The stolen bike was parked near Ollur Sree Bhavan hotel, from where it was stolen.

Being tipped off, the police reached the hotel and checked the CCTV visuals obtained from the hotel.

The robber was found to be Sumesh, a resident of Panayambalam Valiya Veedu. Soon after this, police went straight to Sumesh’s house and he along with the stolen vehicle was taken to the police station.

Police said Sumesh is an accused in a number of robbery and other cases.
