KASARAGOD: DySP T.P. Ranjith, who trapped the culprits of Periya double murder was transferred to Kozhikode DCRB.

Following the incident, DySP T.P. Ranjith and Crime Branch C.I. Abdul Raheem conducted a secret investigation. They founded the cause behind the murder, which lead them to the culprits. The special investigation team was able to arrest Peethambaran later.

On the same day when the accused were arrested, Ranjith was directed not to assist the special investigation team. The CI who helped was asked to take charge at Panoor.

In Ranjith’s vacancy, Traffic DySP MP Vinod has been appointed.
