THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: LDF will take a final decision about the candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on Friday. A series of discussions will be held in the coming days. CPI will hold state executive meeting on Sunday and state council meeting on Monday. A probability list will be made for Thiruvananthapuram, Mavelikkara, Thrissur and Wayanad. Final list will be published in the national executive and council meeting on Tuesday and Wednesday. CPM will also start discussions on Sunday. Final decision will be taken after considering the recommendations of party central committee meeting on Sunday and Monday. It has been rumoured that CPM and CPI will be the only two parties to get candidates in the upcoming elections. Though Kottayam seat was given to Janata Dal (S) in the previous elections, CPM is likely to contest from Kottayam this time. CPI will contest in Thiruvananthapuram constituency.
