Meantime, the weather department has predicted that Palakkad, Thrissur, Malappuram and Kozhikode will record highest temperatures in coming days. The temperatures here are expected to rise by 8 degrees. In such situations, there are chances for sunburns.
The Kerala State Disaster Management Authority in their Facebook page has requested the public to take some precautions.
The authority has asked the public to avoid direct sun rays from 11 am to 3 pm. Always carry a bottle of water to avoid dehydration. Drink as much as water you can. Wear loose and light colour cotton clothes. Parents and school authorities have been requested to pay attention to their children and students as their exams are round the corner.
