We are showering praises on Abhinandan who risked his lives to fight enemy forces. Most of us don’t know what it takes to be a pilot. A Facebook post of a user named Sreekanth that outlines the difficulties of a pilot has now gone viral.
Facebook post in detail:
Gravity is a challenge for everyone who flies. A pilot’s blood rushes to his feet as he climbs the altitude. They experience a state of having little blood inside the brain. The heart can’t pump blood. One can lose consciousness, can even lose life. A fighter pilot completes his mission by turning, swirling and by competing with several other forces of nature including gravitational force (G-Force). Pilot trainee undergoes G-Training in order to check whether they can overcome gravitational force. Normally a person is at 1G. A fighter pilot, however, is at 7G or 8G. There is equipment called centrifuge to check the gravitational resistance of a person. Some will vomit or pass out inside this machine. If they are able to overcome this, they can become a fighter pilot. If a pilot cannot adjust to gravitational force during a dog fight in the air, consciousness will be lost. These planes fly at a speed greater than that of sound, so what if the pilot passes out. These people not only fight the enemy planes, but they also have to keep their body live. G-Force can be adjusted through rigorous training and special jackets. Only those with a strong mind and body can become a fighter pilot. Here I remember a saying that a fighter pilot is precious than the fighter plane he is flying.
