SRINAGAR: The headquarters of Jaish-e-Muhammad, the Pakistani terrorist group, is a center with most modern amenities. Extending over three acres, this is a massive building named Markaz Subhanallah, which means ‘centre for praising God’. It took Jaish chief Masood Azhar three years to build the facility that houses several modern facilities. This place hosts all crucial meetings of the senior-most Jaish functionaries. The residences of Masood Azhar, his brothers and his other relatives associated with Jaish are located inside the complex.

The construction of the huge three-acre palatial complex began in 2012 and became operational in 2015 during Sharif’s regime.

Jaish headquarters was built with the help of both the provincial and Sharif governments. Masood Azhar also raised funds in the Middle East, Africa, and the UK.

The Bahawalpur complex has served as the ‘entry gate’ for all Jaish cadres, who were trained later at Balakot.

Every Friday, Masood Azhar’s brother, Mufti Abdul Rauf Asghar delivers lectures to motivate youth to participate in ‘jihad’
