THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Enforcement squads have been formed under state motor vehicle department in order to reduce accidents. These squads will be equipped with GPS facility and high tech cameras at all fourteen districts. There are eight squads each in Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode. Each squad will have an MV Inspector and two assistant inspectors. Training has been provided to 176 assistant vehicle inspectors.

In order to observe black spots, a special team consisting of Motor Vehicle Inspectors will be there. This team will find the most dangerous zones in one-kilometer square radius.
