KOCHI: The Kerala High Court criticised the accused in the actress attack case for delaying the trial in the case. They came under attack for demanding to withdraw the court order asking to speed up the trial. The court asked, ‘Why the accused wants to delay the trial, and sarcastically said the cat is out of the bag.’
The case came under consideration before Justice Alexander Thomas.
Rejecting the bail plea of Martin, second accused in the case, the court ordered to complete the trial within six months. Martin approached the court again seeking to withdraw this order. The state government too opposed the demand of the accused.
