KALPATTA: Intelligence agencies have issued a report that the Maoists might hit back following the death of C.P. Jaleel. The police have increased the protection at Wayanad district borders. While the police say that the shots were fired for self-protection, the resort employees at Vythiri Upavan Resort says that the police started the firing.

The death of C.P. Jaleel has further irked the organization that couldn’t avenge for the deaths of Maoist leaders Kuppu Devaraj and Ajitha. Jaleel is the first Malayali Maoist leader to be killed by the force. C.P. Rasheed, Jaleel’s brother alleged that the murder is a police drama.
