PALAKKAD: Activist Rajeesh Paul was arrested for sexually abusing a minor girl, daughter of maoist couple. He was arrested by Pariyaram police. The police have imposed a POCSO case against Rajeesh Paul. The victim had raised an allegation against Rajeesh Paul on Facebook. Rajeesh had threatened the girl of revealing her naked pictures. Many people demanded Rajeesh’s arrest following this. The arrest was made on the basis of a complaint lodged by a public worker in Kottayam.
Rajeesh was granted anticipatory bail from Pariyaram.
