THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Political parties are in a rush to field their candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Every party have chosen candidates based on the winning probabilities. Noted writer Saradakkutti has come forward criticizing CPM for not fielding enough women candidates.
“CPM had talked about renaissance during Sabarimala protests. Those women who had applauded for the party had expected that the women representation will be increased this time. However, there are many candidates who had publicly supported misogyny and violence in the list declared by party secretary. Isn’t there any women in the party who is qualified enough to contest in the elections?” criticized Saradakkutti.
