THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM leader P Jayarajan has come forward revealing that he was in jail at the same time when RMP leader T P Chandrasekharan was also jailed. “TP and I were jailed for staging a march to Kozhikode IG office against removing Congress leader K Sudhakaran from FIR of Nalppadi Vasu case. CPM Kannur district secretary M V Jayarajan and RMP leader K Venu were also jailed with this. There were discussions about bringing back T P Chandrasekharan to the party, however some external forces stopped it”, said P Jayarajan.
“There were opinions among RMP members that the party should not keep an animosity towards CPM. I had discussed this matter with Venu. He said that he will come back with T P, however that did not happen. A meeting was scheduled at Thiruvananthapuram. However, TP did not come as he was influenced by someone else. Many leaders including Pinarayi Vijayan knew this”, said Jayarajan.
