india-vs-australia

NEW DELHI: India suffered a 35-run defeat against Australia in the fifth and final one-day International (ODI) to lose the series 2-3 at Feroz Shah Kotla ground in New Delhi on Wednesday. With this Australia had ended the drought of 10 years to win a bilateral series in India as they won last bilateral series here in 2009. Indian batsmen faltered as they played rash shots which reduced India to 132 for 6 in 29th over. However, Kedar Jadhav (44 off 57 balls) and Bhuvneshwar Kumar (46 off 54 balls) stitched a 92 run partnership for 7th wicket to give India a glimmer of hope.
