THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A Youth Congress Secretary of Attukal was found brutally murdered here. Anandhu Gireesh (21) of Konchiravila Orukambil Veedu was found murdered at a vacant land near RRTC-BSNL.

Anandhu’s body was found on a search conducted by his friends and police after his bike was seen near Neeramankara. Veins on both hands were cut. Head and legs were found to be hacked. There were injuries throughout the body. The police have arrested six people for interrogation, including Balu and Roshan. The police said that the arrest has not been registered. Anandhu is a former student of Chackai ITI.

There was a conflict between Anandhu’s group and another regarding a dance program at Konchiravila temple. This has further developed and ended up in murder. A special team has been appointed for the investigation.
