THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The congress high command has expressed dissatisfaction on the intense infighting in the Kerala Congress in the Lok Sabha seat. Congress chief Rahul Gandhi has sought an explanation on the issue. The high command assess that the dispute may affect the winning chance of other seats. Meantime, a section of the congress activists had mentioned that a soft approach is not needed in the issue. It has been hinted that senior leaders had informed Rahul their discontent in contesting.

In the meanwhile, P J Joseph has stated that discussions are being held on the Kottayam seat. A final decision will be taken by tomorrow evening. However, Mani is of the stand that they are not ready for any compromise. If Rahul Gandhi intervenes and Congress leadership toughens stand, Kerala Congress and P J Joseph will have to compromise.
