KOTTAYAM: If two seats are obtained, the present crisis in the Kerala Congress can be solved, said Rosy Augustine MLA. P J Joseph will contest if Idukki seat is obtained. Thomaz Chazhikdan is moving forward with campaigning in Kottayam seat, he said.

He said that he doesn’t know whether congress intervened in giving Kottayam seat to P J Joseph. Campaigning has started after deciding the Kerala Congress candidate. The congress high command has not informed any dissatisfaction to the Kerala Congress leadership. The UDF will win all seats in the present situation. There is no fear of defeat in any seat.

The candidate for the Kottayam seat was fixed after detailed discussions. The congress has the right to intervene in the issue. P J Joseph has not mentioned about any defeat. He has not been distanced. A decision could not be taken without considering the sentiments of the activists, he told reporters here.
